1What should I pack?
  • Neutral-coloured clothing
  • Layers for cold mornings and evenings
  • Comfortable clothing and flip flops for around camp
  • A decent pair of binoculars
  • A good sunscreen
  • A good sun hat
  • Power adaptors
  • 2How do we get there?
There are multiple daily small aircraft flights right into the Mara Triangle, from there our camp team will meet you and transfer you to camp or straight out on safari!

Our logistics team is ready to assist with all your travel needs from the moment you arrive in Kenya to the moment you depart.
    3Whats the weather like?
Throughtout our safari season (June - November) the weather is generally wonderful with highs of around 30 degrees celsius (86 farenheit) and lows of around 10 degrees celsius (50 farenheit) during the night. However, being close to the equator means there is always a chance of rain. This rain tends to fall in the afternoons, but don’t worry, our safari trucks are fully sealable in case of unexpected storms.
4Does Enkishui have a minimum age?
We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 14. However, should you take exclusive use of Enkishui or Little Enkishui, we have more flexibility. Please enquire during booking.
    5How long should we stay?
Any length of time in the Mara will change you for the better! However, we suggest a minimum of 3-4 nights and certainly encourage you to spend longer. This allows for a more peaceful and less "timed" experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the wonders of this incredible place.
If your goal is to catch the Great Migration in action, we recommend 5-7 nights or longer. Nothing can ever be guaranteed on safari but the more time you can spend in the field, the higher your chance of witnessing something amazing. The migration tends to peak from late July through early September.
6Do you have any extension options?
Yes we do! Kenya is known as the "Home of Safari" for excellent reason and our Travel Experts are ready to assist with all your extension needs. Below are just a few ideas to inspire your travel dreams.

  • Search for tuskers and catch impressive Mount Kilimanjaro views from the magical Amboseli National Park.
  • Look for leopards (including the famous black (or melanistic) leopards) as well as other endemic wildlife in Laikipia.
  • The wonders of Zanzibar are well within reach. Think cocktails, beaches, and picture-perfect sunsets.
  • Continue your journey through the Rift Valley ecosystem by venturing into the Sernegeti in Tanzania and see how the landscape slowly shifts as you progress south.

  • There are so many, easily accessible options available to you and, best of all, we will be there ever step of the way to assist with the planning and execution of a life-changing itinerary.
