The Safari Drive
Also known as the "Game Drive"
If you have never been on a safari drive before, it’s nearly impossible to prepare you for the experience.
There are few things in life that are as profound as the first time you set off into the bush. Even if never realized your love of Mother Nature before, something about those early mornings, waking in the dark, grabbing a cup of coffee at the fire, the camaraderie, the sense of purpose, and above all the abundance of life surrounding you.
At Enkishui Safari Camp you can expect two safari drives per day, a morning drive and an afternoon/evening drive. But be prepared: when the stars align to provide truly exceptional opportunities and experiences, we take advantage with occasional all-day adventures!

We encourage you to get to know the people who make Enkishui feel like a home away from home and provide opportunities to learn more about the history of the Maasai, their cuisine, their rituals, and the complex interchange between traditional and modern life during our cultural evenings. Repeat guests will be quick to tell you that some of their fondest memories and experiences of their time with us are cantered around the incredible people they’ve met here at camp.

A simply unforgettable experience
If the idea of peacefully floating above one of the world’s most impressive natural habitats excites you, then this experience is definitely for you.
Enjoy a morning unlike any you’ve previously experienced and most certainly different from a traditional morning on safari. Beginning long before dawn, you will be transferred to the hot air balloon launch site (and we’ll make sure you have plenty of coffee for your early day). There, you’ll stand in awe as massive sprouts of flame erupt all around you in the darkness as the huge balloons begin to take shape. As the sun begins to rise, you take to the air.
The experience culminates at an impressive Champagne breakfast in the middle of the Mara Triangle.
This experience is supplementary to your stay at Enkishui and it is imperative to book well in advance.
